Wound Care Advantage (WCA), a leading provider and manager of hospital outpatient wound care programs, has promoted Randall Brooker to President of Center Operations.

In his new role Brooker, who joined WCA four years ago as VP of Program Operations, will oversee all day-to-day operations of contracted outpatient wound care and hyperbaric medicine programs across the country. He will additionally provide ongoing support and oversee training for all WCA program directors, regional directors, physicians, and hospital administration teams.

“I’m thrilled to take on this new role and lead our operational team to even higher levels of performance while maintaining the unique corporate culture of WCA and its close-knit team,” said Brooker. “WCA excels at every level, and our clients rely on us to help them become operationally and financially sound. That’s what keeps us moving forward every day, and we love it.”

In addition to overseeing day-to-day, Brooker will offer WCA’s clients expert guidance on compliance issues, corporate strategy, financial goal-setting, hyperbaric operations, client retention, and sales.

“Randy has a proven track record of overseeing successful programs, and his extensive knowledge of operations have played a major role in our company’s growth over the past 17 years,” said Mike Comer, CEO of Wound Care Advantage. “His enthusiasm is contagious, and he’s an amazing mentor and teacher. Our team relies on his guidance as we help our partners grow and thrive.”

Brooker has more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining WCA, he served in a variety of roles in the wound care industry, including program director, senior program director, regional director of operations, and national director of hyperbaric operations. Brooker holds an undergraduate degree in Biology from Texas Tech University and is a Certified Hyperbaric Technologist. He is also an educator for various hyperbaric courses.
