On behalf of WCA, we’d like to wish our beloved CNA, Fe Macalalag, a happy retirement. For the past 13 years, Fe was the backbone of the wound center at USC Verdugo Hills Hospital, tending to our patients’ needs while ensuring that the clinic was running efficiently. She took great pride in keeping it fully stocked and ready to operate so our clinicians could provide great care while helping our patients heal and get back to their daily lives.

For me, it’s been a great pleasure working alongside Fe for the past 10 years. She’s been a vital member of our wound care nursing team and has always embodied WCA’s core value of making the needs of each patient a top priority.

We’ll miss you, Fe, and our patients will, too! We love you and wish you the best of luck in your next chapter.
