During the COVID-19 crisis, we're keenly aware that most people need to stay at home. But many patients need ongoing wound care, and taking a break from treatment could mean amputation - or worse. Our clinical team is working very closely with our partners across the country, putting additional safety protocols in place to deliver the best care in the safest possible environment. Our goal is to keep chronic wound patients out of the emergency room, where resources are scarce during this national emergency. For many of our patients sheltering in place at home, telemedicine gives us an excellent opportunity to check in, view the wound, discuss symptoms and treatment, and provide one-on-one guidance and support. No matter what, we're dedicated to helping our patients heal safely and live their best lives.
